Nightmute Part-Time Community Service Representative

Coastal Villages Region Fund is currently seeking applications for a Part-Time Community Service Representative in Nightmute, Alaska.  The primary job responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, providing support and backup for the Community Service Manager in the areas of generating awareness of CVRF programs and services, developing and maintaining community network programs, responding to requests from community members, providing administrative support for accounting and filing functions, assisting Anchorage in recruitment efforts, and assisting in marine safety awareness programs.

This position reports directly to the Community Service Manager assigned to that location, with overall supervision by the Communications & Community Benefits Manager.

  

Starting Wage: DOE Status: Non-Exempt Hourly Part Time

  

Coastal Villages Region Fund has a zero tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy.  Selected applicants will be required to successfully pass background and reference checks. 

  

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.  Previous education or work experience in a relevant field is desired.  Applicants should possess the ability to represent the company in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing.  Must have basic computer skills, including some knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel programs.  Successful applicants will have the ability to learn and teach others, and work well in a team environment.  A high regard for accuracy, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines is required.

This position is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and florescent lighting. It requires the regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
